So you mean that specifying $CVSPID in the loginfo script could work already?
Like so:
ALL someprogramname.exe $USER $CVSROOT $CVSPID {svV}
If this is OK then I have wasted your time unneccessarily...

Which pid are you reading? The $CVSPID parameter tells you the PID of the
cvs server. The script will of course have a different PID for each
iteration.
