OK that probably means that the solaris 'socket' command has slightly
different
parameters.  There isn't much I can do to debug that (sun no longer
offer solaris for download in intel)...  You could try putting lots of
printf statements around the socket creation (it's all in common.c) and
see if there's anything obvious.
