[Cvsnt] Cannot open :local:... .cvsignore

I am getting this error message, and I cant quite expalin it. The only
system variable I have set is PATH, and that points to E:\CVSROOT. The
program itself is installed on C, and there is no directory E:/CVS/. Can
anyone explain this?


cvs server: cannot open :local:E:/CVS/.cvsignore: Invalid argument
cvs [server aborted]: can't chdir(:local:E:/CVS): Invalid argument
cvs checkout: invalid data from cvs server
