[cvsnt] Linux clients and CVSNT

I'm running RedHat Linux 9.0 with a standard installation of cvs.  When I
attempt to contact the server, I receive warnings that the session will only
accept encrypted traffic (or something along those lines, I cannot recall
the exact details).

I searched in the wiki and could not find any information about dealing with
this from the linux client perspective.  If anyone has any wisdom or advice
on the topic, I would greatly appreciate it.
