[cvsnt] problems compiling 2.0.12 on Solaris 8 with gcc 3.3

I'm building gcc 3.3.2 with shared libs now.  I found why the
__eprintf() was happening, I had an old assert.h floating around
that was from an old gcc install, moved it away, and libltdl
compiled ok.
