An NT "port" (i.e. extending Cygwin to support long pathnames beyond the 
native Windows limit of 256 characters) is in progress.  A true native 
port of arch, that doesn't rely on Cygwin, is not on the cards, so 
you're technically correct at the moment.

Network drives don't really come into the picture, since users can set 
up local repositories really easily, then push the changes using sftp to 
a central repository if that's what's needed.
