   Thanks for your response.  I noticed that you have newer version.    I
will try and update the cvs server to 2.0.14.   
   As far as running the telnet 2401 on the cvs server.  I get a reponse
back from the cvs server(It says "Bad auth protocol" but at least it could
get to the cvs server) both in the same segment as well as different
segment.    Thats how I concluded the network setup was ok.   I can
confirm this again by the fact that cvs1.10 was able to connect from both
the segements where as cvs1.11 did not.
   Anyways I will try and upgrade the cvsnt and post my results.
