I'm tested and the file is in correct place and is the last version of
cvsnt.
After I type 'cvs' this message appeared:
|Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 1.11.1.3 (Build 64) (client/server)
|Copyright (c) 1989-2001 Brian Berliner, david d `zoo' zuhn,

others

|Specify the --help option for further information about CVS
When I commit or edit the files, the attribute read-only works fine, but on
checkout the -r option as no efect.
The contents of my '.cvsrc' is this:
|cvs -r
|qedit -c
|qcommit -c
The command line used to checkout is this:
cvs -d :pserver:everaldo at saturno:/nscvs checkout TESTE
I type this to test:
cvs -r -d :pserver:everaldo at saturno:/nscvs checkout TESTE
Another problem is on 'update' command, this command do not make files as
read-only attribute.
