That's because CVSNT no longer uses the passfile, but wants its passfile 
entries in the repository.

Why, oh why, was this done? It's not just a matter of being "Windows 
stylish" and doing everything the Bill Gates way - there are other tools 
that try to automate CVS, and get broken by such gratuitous changes..
