[cvsnt] Intermittant error

Yeah - it's a bizarre one. Sometimes everything works fine, so I know the pserver connection is fine, and I can check files in and out. It's adding new files that appears to be the issue. Basically its falling over with a null pointer exception (the Windows debug dailog box suggests an attempt to
reference memory at 0x000000) when I try and commit.
I'm no expert at setting CVS up, but the fact that it work 25% of the time suggests that all communications and permissions would seem to be set up correctly?? No disrespect to anyone, but is 2.0.10 stable? Has anyone been using it from a Websphere Studio platform?
The fact that it fails to write a dump is also strange - The directory where the dump is being written to has full r/w for all users (inc the CVSUser group). It gets as far as creating a 0 bytes file, and then stops, saying it failed to write the dump.
Scott.

That means cvs couldn't write to the directory.

If you can get the dump file then it'll help. There's a problem with
WSAD but I'm not sure whet it does when you do 'sync'.
There's also an import problem (that curiously doesn't happen when I
do it.. not sure of what the exact trigger is) which is fixed in the
next nighly build. However I expect it's unlikely that sync ==
import.
Tony
