[cvsnt] Client connection failing to cvsnt on a HP-UX UNIX box using pserver

It is even happening from wincvs when I try to login using admin->login,
the console shows
 
cvs -d :pserver:oracle at lep_000:/webtest login 
cvs [login aborted]: authorization failed: server lep_000 rejected
access to /webtest for user oracle
 
 
 
I restartd the inetd daemon. Now I am getting
 
=>cvs -t -d :pserver:oracle at localhost:/webtest version
  -> Tracelevel set to 1.  PID is 27570
  -> Session ID is 6bb2404ce2205262
  -> Loading protocol /usr/local/lib/cvsnt/pserver_protocol
  -> main loop with CVSROOT=:pserver:oracle at localhost:/webtest
  -> Config file name /home/oracle/.cvs/cvspass
cvs version: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real
password
