Do NOT use :local: over the network.  Use :sspi: if you aren't sure of 
which protocol to use, or :pserver: if your client doesn't understand 
sspi and you don't care about security (there are other protocols to 
choose from).  That is what is causing the error.  You'll find CVSNT 
runs faster and more reliably when you are using it in client/server mode.
