You are right, it happened this morning but I can't access nntp servers from
office and wrote from home several hours later... but the message told about
a "missing tab" too.

Yes. It is in C/S mode, using sspi protocol. I downloaded and upgraded both
the server and the clients, by running the setup program (without
uninstalling). I checked the CVS version and got "2.0.58"
We had no problem committing until I upgraded the server, while some files
were not committed yet. I have a full backup of the repository made the
night before, therefore I could try if it happens again on a test machine,
or send to you some of the fileattr files.
Could deleting the corrupted files lead to some problem, or is the
repository safe? I can't let people work any longer if I have to restore the
backup.
