The CVS users don't normally browse anything, this is not built into the
system at all.
When you have installed WinCvs then you have a *client* to CVS.
Now you need to connect to a *server* in order to check out any files.
If that server is CVSNT then WinCvs has a browsing button in the checkout
dialogue where
you can actually browse the available modules and files in the repository on
the server.
But if it is a standard CVS server (like at Sourceforge) then this is not
possible.
In that case you have to know beforehand the name and location of the module
you want
to check out....

Hi!
What you want is i've not tried , because i've installed CVSNT for future in
my company. I'll try them latter.
right now we are using from Linux Server and not so, much access from my
Computer.
If you'll be able to know from other source of cvsnt users, let me know.
Pl. always send your message to cvsnt at cvsnt.org also, not only to me.
Thank you.

Hi Kinjal,
What I meant is when user login in WinCVS (connect CVSNT server) then user
will browse (browse location) root (drive C), is it right ?
e.g. user A logins, he can browse root drive C from WinCVS
user B logins, he can browse root drive C from WinCVS
user administrator logins, he has to have access to root directory
(right ?)
I want to set WinCVS, when A logins, he can only browse a repository
directory only (e.g. c:\project), is it possible ?
*) e.g. compare to OS system :
like user login in unix env. , unix will set home directory for that user
(something like that)
Thanks you in advance
Sandi

Hi!
I can't understand your question properly. If you wnat to add different
clients as cvsuser, then refer CVSNT Installation Tips given on the download
page of CVSNT. Click on Original. There you'll find also what rights should
give to CVSUser.
Thank you.
