[cvsnt] cvsnt + update -P + cannot open directory . for empty check: No such file or directory

Just wondering what causes the "cannot open directory . for empty check: No
such file or directory" error

We've got a cvsnt server running on win2k , with Xp clients,

C:\Inetpub\wwwrootlile>"C:\Program Files\cvsnt\cvs.exe" update -Pd
cvs server: Updating .
M lile.csproj
cvs server: Updating EnhancedSettings
cvs server: Updating lilelogin
cvs server: Updating lilelogin/Image
cvs server: Updating lilelogin/backgrounds
cvs server: Updating lilelogin/images
cvs server: cannot open directory . for empty check: No such file or
directory

Everything seems to work fine, apart from the -P option.

This seems to occur for multiple modules in this repository.

Is this a known issue, or is there a way to fix this?
