Thank you very much for your help. It's really frustrating to be so close to the
solution and not to be able to conclude.

We are currently using the CVS SSL plugin (
http://home.arcor.de/rolf_wilms/cvsssl/cvsssl_help.html) within Eclipse. Our
various clients and Ant use SSPI. We just wanted to use the same protocol to be
consistent. We don't want to face an obscure problem in the future because of
this diversity. I'll keep my eyes open for the future Eclipse/CVSNT enhancements
anyway...
