I'm not sure -- I believe my question was misunderstood. I just wanted a
list of file extensions to ignore when importing a Microsoft visual studio
project. Most of those files types do not require version control.
I suppose this technically not a CVSNT topic, but it is one that I imagine
people using CVSNT and Microsoft Visual C (for example) would have to deal
with frequently.

Use TortoiseCVS. Make new module, then add contents. It's easier to
get started with than the command line.
If you like the command line better, then I suggest reading up on the
docs available at http://www.cvsnt.org/manual (for starters) and writing
to the list when you have actual trouble with some commands (if any).
