Bo,
I used your installer found at :
http://web.telia.com/~u86216121/ViewCvsSetup.html to install ViewCVS on my
new Windows 2000 Server Box (using IIS5.0 and a working CVSNT 2.0.41 server
on it).
I first tested my CVSNT server and all is ok.
I then installed Active State Python "ActivePython-2.4.1-245-win32-ix86.msi"
and rebooted my server
I then used your installer to setup the Viewcvs programs
Now, when i go to http://myserver/ViewCvs/viewcvs.cgi, i get the following
error message :
===============================
An Exception Has Occurred

NB : here is my CVSNT configuration :
D:\cvsrepo\oscar\CVSROOT
D:\cvsrepo\oscar\othermodulehere
D:\cvsrepo\oscar\othermodule2here
"oscar" is the name of my "Repository"
Every modules are in a folder under the "D:\cvsrepo\oscar" directory
Here is an extract of my viewcvs.conf file :
cvs_roots = oscar : D:\cvsrepo\oscar
default_root =oscar
languages = fr, en-us
cvsnt_exe_path=C:\Program Files\cvsnt\cvs.exe
main_title=CVS Repositories sur MYSERVER
specialbuild=1.0-2005-02-21
root_as_url_component = 0
use_localtime = 1
use_enscript =0
use_php = 1
php_exe_path = C:\php\cli\php.exe
My clients use Eclipse 3.0 and tortoise CVS, under Tortoise CVS, when a
client tryes to list available modules, the list is empty and a Tortoise CVS
error message says that the adminitrator must install a web interface in
order to get the list; that's why i try to install Viewcvs as it was on the
old server before the migration i did that night.
Thanks for your help.
Florent
