You have to start out by reading basic info on CVS:
Start here for example:
http://cvsbook.red-bean.com/cvsbook.html
Without basic understanding you will get nowhere and a mail list
is not a replacement for RTFM and other studies.
And Please do not send me list responses in private!
Send *only* to the list. I will read it from there.
Best regards,
Bo Berglund

Subject: RE: [cvsnt] Repository and Wincvs question
I know this sounds like a silly question and I appriciate all of your
help but what is a sandbox and how do I create it?
Thanks,
Mick

In WinCvs you select the folder in your sandbox where the new
file is
located.
The files already under source control will appear in the file
list
window.
The files not yet under source control will also be visible but
with an
icon with a ? character
Select the one you want to add to the module
Click the Add button on the toolbar (there are 3 to choose from
depending on the type of file)
Now the file icon changes to a red "document" icon
Select the file again if it lost focus
Then click the commit button (the red up-left arrow)
In the dialogue that comes up enter a message on why you are
adding the
file
Then click OK
This is all, the file is now added to the module and will be
available
for all others to use.
The location will be the same as the other files in the folder
you are
operation inside, all files in a working folder come from the
same
repository folder, so this is natural.
HTH
Bo
