I tried to add a bug note to this bug, but Mantis wouldn't let me.

The admin -n switch *is* documented in the Cederqvist published on

Summary:                    Alias tags doesn't work
Description: 
I tried to make an alias for a branch tag, using command

cvs tag -A -r TEST-BRANCH NEW-BRANCH File1.txt

But instead of making alias for a TEST-BRANCH branch cvsnt made a new
tag.

What it mean "Alias tags didn't exist in 2.0.51." ?

When I'm making alias using 
cvs admin -n ALIAS-BRANCH:TEST-BRANCH File1.txt 
It's working!

Possibly using undocumented admin commands you could create them, but
they're not the same things.

It's _documented_ cvs command !
