[cvsnt] $Name$ keyword suddenly failing to resolve

Hi folks,

  I am having a problem with the $Name$ keyword resolving in the file
when I checkout existing modules using the tag name or CVS Update and
specify the tag name  If I create a NEW repository and add files from
scratch I get the keyword resolving just fine!

We have not made any changes to the CVS Version (2.0.5).  The only
changes made recently were to the taginfo.pl and commitinfo.pl scripts
that I use to check for valid tag names and commit comments.  Is there
some file in the CVSROOT folder that could be causing this problem?  

Any ideas on how I may be able to remedy this situation?   It is very
important for us to have the tag name resolve when we checkout using a
tag.
