Check permissions on the various folders on the server.
For example the temp folder used by CVSNT must be "full control" for Everyone.
Of course also the repository folders must have the proper permissions for the
developers.

Using WinCVS 1.3 with 2.0.51d, I get the following error:
cvs server: cannot open directory . for empty check: No such file or
directory
Please help. I went production and suddenly it crept up on us... :(
