You can try adding it to the hosts file. in linux you could add it to
/etc/hosts (although the actual hostname is stored in a number of config
files, this one will help you reference the correct one from other
programs) and on windows you can try adding the correct hostnames to
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts. This may be a desirable config,
since you only have a small number of machines and no real DNS domain to
worry about.

The next version uses the local name instead.. which should work, but is
susceptible to bad/misconfigured hostnames on the local machine (which
is not uncommon... a new debian install for example will happily call
itself localhost.localdomain unless you know where to change it).
