[cvsnt] cvs diff -N has error for added file: "cvs diff: nul: Invalid argument"

Command sequence:

C:\mysandbox>cvs add newfile.txt
cvs add: scheduling file `newfile.txt' for addition
cvs add: use 'cvs commit' to add this file permanently

C:\mysandbox>cvs diff -N newfile.txt

RCS file: newfile.txt
diff -N newfile.txt
cvs diff: nul: Invalid argument

I would really like this resolved.
