You have a newer version of CVSNT now and it canot handle the path
delimiters in the CVSROOT script files like the older version did.
You need to do the following:
Edit the CVSROOT files loginfo, taginfo and notify and change the
specifier:
C:\Programs\CVSMailer\CVSMailer.exe to
C:/Programs/CVSMailer/CVSMailer.exe
Commit the changes and then the next commit you do will work fine.
Best regards,
Bo Berglund

Subject: [cvsnt] FW: "Unknown escape character"s after commit
Hi.
I get the following error after commit:
---------------------------
.... "C:\Program Files\TortoiseCVS\cvs.exe" "-q" "-x" "commit" "-m"
"test" "KM_2004.xls"
CVSROOT=:sspi:srvcvs01:/CVS_ROOT
Checking in KM_2004.xls;
/CVS_ROOT/00-Welcome/KM_2004.xls,v <-- KM_2004.xls
new revision: 1.2; previous revision: 1.1
done
Unknown escape character '\P' ignored.
Unknown escape character '\C' ignored.
Unknown escape character '\C' ignored.
Script execution failed
...
----------------------------
Any idea where this came from? This is a clean install + CVSMail server
(maybe CVSMail added some scripts). I run the same configuration without
CVSMail on another server and there are no such errors. Where should I
look into?
Regards,
Aleksander
