[cvsnt] Jar files becoming corrupt

I tried to do a

 

cvs up -r 1.1 <jarname.jar>

 

And nothing seemed to happen. I'm not sure exactly what is suppose to
happen with that command, but if someone could help me out id appreciate
it.
