We have been toying with IBM OmniFind Yahoo! Edition which indexes up to
500,000 documents.
http://omnifind.ibm.yahoo.net/
Our viewvc is protected via IIS and since omnifind doesn't do ntlm we are
using ntlmaps to present these logins as http basic auth which it does
support.
http://ntlmaps.sourceforge.net/
Also we have omnifind connected to IIS with mod_jk and the ajp protocol so
it can run on port 80 and then added a little search box to the viewvc
header.ezt file.
We still need to look at security for the search app, exclusions and
crawling schedule.

Hello,
Does anyone have a suggestion on a suitable search engine for the web
interface (ViewCVS) towards the CVSNT repository? Does Google work?
Best regards,
Per
