[cvsnt] sspi and schannel

When running cvsnt under windows, under the plugin configuration screen 
for sspi in the control panel, there is a check mark for "schannel(ssl)". 
what exactly does that do? Do you have to generate certificates like with 
sserver? What exactly gets encrypted, the entire transfer or just the 
authentication?
