[cvsnt] cvs watch off not working...

I'm not sure how, but I have several files that have watch on (-kc option).
I'd like to turn it off, but the expected 'cvs watch off file.name' doesn't
appear to do anything.  If I remove the file and update, it is still checked
out read only.  What is the proper way of removing the -c option?

I'm using:
Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.04 (Zen) Build 2471
(client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (CVSNT) 2.5.03 (Scorpio) Build 2382
(client/server)
