Mackenzie,

It appears as though you are running the x64 version of Windows 2008
(actually now I think about it maybe there is only an x64 version of
2008...). 

In that case the registry location should be:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Nod\March Hare Software Ltd

And the MSVCP71.dll should be in d:\Program Files(x86)\Common
Files\March Hare Software Ltd\ 


Does the directory d:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\March Hare
Software Ltd\ exist?  Did you do a 'typcial' install or a 'custom'
install?  If you did 'custom' what features did you leave out?
