Security reasons? Some sysadmins have very strange (and very wrong) ideas 
about Windows security. They are *decreasing* security, not increasing it. 
For example, probably they are using the weaker NTLM and not the stronger 
Kerberos authentication to access remote resources. No groups, no OU, no 
policies... oh my god! But that's a CVSNT newsgroup, not a Windows one...
