Out of curiosity:
Which *exact* version of CVSNT are you using (client *and* server)?
There were about 10 different (or even more) builds released for
2.5.03..
Best way to find out is to open a command prompt in the folder where
you have the checked out files and give command:
cvs --ver

It will return both the client and server versions complete with the
build number.
