Returns the number of bytes of a field |

| Use | Allowed in all components. |
| Description | display_length returns the
number of bytes Uniface will attempt to store in the database.
When dealing with multi-byte character sets (like Japanese) its a lifesaver
because length returns the number
of bytes Uniface will display on the screen.
