[Cvsnt] cvs checkout: warning: unrecognized

I am using cvsnt 1.11.1.13 rc1 (build 53) and getting the following error
when checking out a package.

cvs checkout: warning: unrecognized response `DS' from cvs server

I am running the server on w2k as a service.  My client is Darwin using cvs
1.10.

Does anyone has suggestions?
