Nope. Won't work. Of those commands, only date and cvs exist on NT. Putting
them into a batch file has no more effect; the line listed above *only* works
under *nix.

The '&' character on *nix systems will create a background shell process that
will do the autoupdate after sleeping for 2 seconds. The sleep is vital because
the original cvs process has a lock on the file which is not released until the
commit is completed. NT does not have a comparable construct.
